You are invited to come worship with us at the historic Greenwood First United Methodist Church located in downtown Greenwood, MS. We strive to proved a wonderful worship experience with lively hymns, passionate preaching and warm loving atmosphere. It is our understanding that coming together to praise our Lord is the most important event in one's life.
Worship beings every Sunday Morning at 11 am.
From Pew to Participation
We encourage people to not just simply come, but become a part of the worship of our Lord. You are invited to participate in any of the following areas.
Be an Usher or Greeter who offer friendly service to everyone walking through our doors.
Be an acolyte who brings the symbolic Light of Christ into worship.
Help serve communion by offering the body and blood of Christ to the world.
Give a short children's message that helps to invite our kids into a relationship with Jesus.
Sing in the choir and lead us in praises to God.
Help out in the sound booth.
